Introduction

uvod2.jpgSince the Republic of Slovenia is a member of the EU, all vehicles have to be approved according to the EU homologation requirements before registration or entry into service. Vehicles that have already been approved and registered in one of the EU member states must be identified by having their technical data put into the Slovene database before being registered in Slovenia. Single vehicle approvals and vehicle identification procedures are performed at authorized Controlling organizations where the prescribed procedure is performed and the certificate of conformity for vehicles, which is necessary for registration, is issued.

uvod1.jpgYou can find information about single vehicle approvals, the vehicle identification procedure and the homologation regulations: the EU-directive (TSV), valid in Republic of Slovenia, and authorized Controlling organizations on the webpage of the Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Roads.
